NBA | Feb 22, 2012 Los Angeles Lakers vs. Dallas Mavericks |

I’m going to get right to the point with this mid-week pick by saying that I really like the Over in tonight’s matchup of Western Conference title contenders. Outside of their last meeting, a uninspiring 73-70 home win by L.A., the Lakers and Mavericks have played Over the set O/U Total in four of the last five meetings in Dallas and four times in the last half-dozen meetings overall. In addition to that, the Over has also gone 4-1 in Dallas’ last five home games versus a team with a losing road record while also going 7-3 in the Mavs’ last 10 games against their Western Conference counterparts. The Over has also gone 4-1 in the Lakers’ L/5 games overall, 3-1-1 in their last five road games and 5-2 in their L/7 games against their Western Conference counterparts. |

NBA | Feb 22, 2012 Indiana Pacers vs. Charlotte Bobcats |
Indiana Pacers -5-110 at BETUS |
Won $100 |
|
The Indiana Pacers have won three straight games following their five-game SU losing streak and I believe they’ll extend their winning ways in easy fashion tonight by spanking the lowly Bobcats in this matchup. The Charlotte Bobcats have gone 2-6 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a winning SU record while also going 1-4 ATS in their L/5 games as a home underdog. While the Bobcats have been busy compiling a dismal 1-5 ATS mark in their last half-dozen home games, the Pacers have posted a nearly perfect 6-1 ATS mark in the L/7 meetings against Charlotte overall. |

NBA | Feb 22, 2012 Detroit Pistons vs. Toronto Raptors |
Detroit Pistons +4-103 at 5DIMES |
Lost $103.0 |

Despite having their three-game winning streak snapped the last time out, like the Detroit Pistons to bounce back in a big way by beating the Toronto Raptors in this matchup tonight. The Pistons are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games and a blistering 8-0 ATS in their L/8 games as an underdog. Toronto has lost four straight games and seven of its last eight games overall while the Pistons have been busy catching fire with a solid 7-3 SU mark over their L/10 games while also going 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall. Cementing my pick for a Pistons win and cover is the fact that Detroit has gone 7-1 ATS in their L/8 games against their Eastern Conference opponents while the Underdog and Road team have gone 4-1 ATS in the L/5 meetings. |

NBA | Feb 22, 2012 Boston Celtics vs. Oklahoma City Thunder |
Oklahoma City Thunder -9-104 at 5DIMES |
Won $100 |
|
The Oklahoma City Thunder have won 10 consecutive home games and the Boston Celtics have lost four straight and six of their last seven games overall. If you’ve seen the C’s lose to Dallas by 16 and Detroit by 15 points over their last two games, then you already know the young Thunder could very well rout the aging, stuck-in-quicksand C’s by 20 or more! Boston scored just 73 points in Monday’s loss to Dallas and will be without floor leader Rajon Rondo after he was ejected for hitting a referee with the basketball in that same loss. Veteran forward Kevin Garnett is expected back tonight after missing the past two games for personal reasons, but the Celtics just don’t look anything like the club we’ve come accustomed to seeing the last four seasons or so. The Celtics have reached the 100-point plateau in any of their last 10 games while Oklahoma City has topped the century mark in three straight games and eight of their L/10 games overall, seven of which turned out to be victories. Play Kevin Durant and company to get the job done tonight! |
