LSU -5½-105 at 5DIMES |
Won $100 |
|
02/22 08:00 PM EST CB (589) GEORGIA VS (590) LSU Take: (590) LSU Reason: Georgia is going nowhere, second to last in the SEC, despite a recent win streak. Most of that was at home and the lone road win was at South Carolina, the only team worse than Georgia in the SEC. The Bulldogs are 6-15 ATS in their last 21 games vs. a team with a winning percentage above .600. LSU is on a roll, with the Tigers 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The favorite is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings and the Bulldogs are 1-6 ATS in the last 7 meetings. Play LSU! |

Marquette -11½-106 at 5DIMES |
Won $100 |
|
02/22 08:00 PM EST CB (573) RUTGERS VS (574) MARQUETTE Take: (574) Blowout Game of the Year: Marquette. Rutgers is 1-6 on the road and faces a Marquette team that is 13-1 at home and 22-5 overall. The Scarlet Knights are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games and 4-16-1 ATS in their last 21 games following a double-digit loss at home. Rutgers is riding a 5-game skid with no offense, shooting 43% as a team (202nd in the nation) and 65 ppg. Marquette is a sizzling offense (76 ppg) behind senior Jae Crowder and Darius Johnson-Odom. The Golden Eagles are on a 7-2 ATS and 39-19-1 ATS in their last 59 vs. the Big East! This will be a one-sided rout with a motivated team against one going through the motions. The favorite is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings, the home team is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings and the Scarlet Knights are 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings. Play Marquette! |

02/22 09:05 PM EST NBA (521) GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS VS (522) PHOENIX SUNS Take: (522) Inner Circle: Suns. As usual, a young Golden State team doesn't play any defense, giving up 100.6 ppg -- 27th in the NBA. The Warriors are 7-17 ATS in their last 24 games vs. a team with a losing record and 4-9 ATS in their last 13 vs. the NBA Pacific. They face a Phoenix team that has turned a corner, on a 2-0 Su/ATS run and one that is playing its third straight home games part of a 6-game home stand. The home team is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings and the Warriors are 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Phoenix. Play the Suns! |

|
02/22 08:05 PM EST NBA (519) UTAH JAZZ VS (520) MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES Take: (520) Home Court Game of the Week: T-Wolves. Utah is terrible on the road at 3-12, and the Jazz is 0-6 ATS in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a losing home record. Defense is the problem, allowing 97.6 ppg -- 24th in the NBA. Minnesota is a young team and young teams usually struggle on the road but are tough at home as they begin to get better and that's the case with the T-Wolves, 3-1 SU, 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall. That included a win at home as a dog over the 76ers. This team is 3rd in the NBA in rebounds and home court has been dominant when these teams meet: The Jazz is 0-4 ATS in the last 4 meetings in Minnesota and the home team is 7-0 ATS in the last 7 meetings. Play the Minnesota Timberwolves! |

Detroit Pistons +4½-110 at BETONLINE |
Lost $110.0 |
|
02/22 07:05 PM EST NBA (501) DETROIT PISTONS VS (502) TORONTO RAPTORS Take: (501) DETROIT PISTONS Reason: Detroit may be in last place but they are playing well, recently winning 6 of 8 games, winning straight up as a dog 5 times. The talent is impressive, with young 7-foot-1 center Greg Monroe (16.8 ppg, 10 rpg) up front, with Rodney Stuckey and Brandon Knight in the backcourt, plus veterans Tayshaun Prince and Ben Gordon. They had another stunner, winning at Boston, 98-88, as a +9 road dog. Greg Monroe took advantage of Kevin Garnett's absence, scoring 22 and added nine rebounds. The Pistons are on a 9-1 ATS run, while the last place Raptors are 1-9 ATS in their last 10 games playing on 3 or more days rest. The Pistons are 24-9 ATS in their last 33 games as an underdog of 0.5-4.5 and the road team is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings between these teams. Play the Pistons! |

02/22 09:05 PM EST NBA (521) GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS VS (522) PHOENIX SUNS Take: High Roller Total: Warriors/Suns Over the total. A pair of weak defenses meet here, both in the bottom 10 in points allowed. As usual, a young Golden State team doesn't play any defense, giving up 100.6 ppg -- 27th in the NBA. The Warriors have plenty of offense, though, with all their young legs and gunners, 4th in the NBA in points scored with 99 per game. The Over is 10-4 in the Warriors last 14 games playing on one day's rest. They face a Phoenix team that has turned a corner, on a 2-0 Su/ATS run and one that is playing its third straight home games part of a 6-game home stand. Phoenix has been cooking on offense with 102 and 104 points the last two games, and that includes 102 against the Lakers, who slow the pace down and focus on defense. Look for an offensive show; Play the Warriors/Suns Over the total! |

Won $101 |
|
02/22 09:05 PM EST NHL (55) LOS ANGELES KINGS (56) COLORADO AVALANCHE Take: (56) NHL 20-Star Situational Slap Shot Slammer: Colorado. A tough spot for the LA Kings, the second of a back to back road spot after playing at Phoenix last night. The Kings are one of the worst offensive teams in the NHL and 1-5 in their last 6 games playing on no days rest. Meanwhile Colorado is rested with the last two days off, plus at home. They are also getting healthy with Avalanche goalie Jean-Sebastien Giguere and forwards Peter Mueller and TJ Galiardi back at practice after each missing multiple games on the team's recent three-game road trip. The Avalanche are 5-1 in their last 6 games playing on 2 days rest and 8-2 in their last 10 games as a home underdog. Play Colorado! |

NBA | Feb 22, 2012 Los Angeles Lakers vs. Dallas Mavericks |
Dallas Mavericks -4½-105 at 5DIMES |
Lost $105.0 |
|
02/22 09:35 PM EST NBA (523) LOS ANGELES LAKERS VS (524) DALLAS MAVERICKS Take: (524) TV Game of the Month: Dallas. Can't trust those Lakers on the road, now 5-11. The Lakers are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games. They head to Dallas to take on the defending champs, a team that is playing great basketball on a 7-1 SU, 5-2-1 ATS. They come off an 89-73 destruction of the Celtics. For this game, the problem the Lakers have is at point guard. When Phil Jackson was here they ran the triangle, which put players in a position to set up shots. Under new Coach Mike Brown they are back to a more traditional offense and their lack of a PG is getting exposed by the opposition. Dallas has a terrific coaching staff and great depth in the backcourt, so they will be able to take advantage and exploit that weakness. The Mavericks are 39-16 ATS in their last 55 vs. the NBA Pacific and 12-3 ATS in their last 15 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. Head to head the Lakers are 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Dallas and 0-5 ATS in the last 5 meetings. Play the Dallas Mavericks! |
